Dr. Blackmon is a board certified dermatologist. He completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at the University of Louisville receiving Magna Cum Laude honors. He completed his medical education the University of Louisville School of Medicine and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine where he merited Alpha Omega Alpha distinctions. A transitional Internship was done at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. Dr. Blackmon’s residency in Dermatology was completed at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Dr. Blackmon has published numerous articles in professional journals and has presented various oral and poster presentations at several professional conferences. He also volunteers in community events.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Blackmon joined Dermatology Associates of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.
