Dr. Meagan-Helen Henderson is a dermatologist, board-certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Dermatology. She received her medical degree and specialization in dermatology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Henderson’s interest in cutaneous oncology motivated her to obtain a Master of Science degree in Experimental Medicine, concurrently with her dermatology residency. She was mentored by world leaders in melanoma and cancer therapeutics. Dr. Henderson has served as a scientific development ambassador, published in respected medical journals, and presented at national and international conferences. She is honored to have received prestigious research awards and grants.
Passionate about medical education, Dr. Henderson was the first Resident Advisor on the Association des médecins spécialistes dermatologues du Québec (Association of Quebec Dermatologists). She spearheaded the design and development of a novel program on dermoscopy to advance the professional development of dermatologists and residents. In addition, Dr. Henderson has volunteered at Camp Liberté, a camp for children with skin diseases, and as a dance teacher for children with developmental disorders. She is proud to have received a Lieutenant Governor’s medal for leadership in volunteering.
Dr. Henderson is fluently bilingual in English and French and cares for patients in both languages. Outside of work, she enjoys tap dancing, skiing, painting, and traveling.
