Dr. Zain Syed is a board certified dermatologist. He completed his undergraduate work at Johns Hopkins University School of Engineering in Baltimore, MD, earning a double major in electrical engineering and computer engineering. He went on to attend the University of Baltimore where he earned a MBA in 2006 and the University of Virginia where completed his medical education in 2010.
Dr. Syed’s post-graduate training includes a clinical research fellowship in photodermatology at Henry Ford Medical Center (Detroit, MI), an internship in internal medicine at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center (Baltimore, MD), a dermatology residency at University of Maryland (Baltimore, MD), where he served as Dermatology Chief Resident during his final year.
Dr. Syed has published many articles in professional journals about dermatologic conditions. He has presented studies and scientific papers at various national and international professional meetings, including the World Congress of Dermatology.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Syed joined Skin Care Specialty Physicians in Lutherville, Maryland.
