General, Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology
Dr. Martha Hickmann is a dermatologist with Dayton Skin Care and Cancer Center. She compliments the practice with more than 15 years of clinical practice in dermatology serving the Dayton community.
After attending Creighton School of Medicine, Dr. Hickmann completed her residency in dermatology at Wright State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Hickmann is board certified in Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of the Ohio Dermatologic Association and the Montgomery County Medical Society. She has participated in multiple clinical research trials and has published articles in professional journals. Dr. Hickmann volunteers in various community events, including cancer screenings. She is also a faculty member of Wright State University’s Dermatology Residency Program.
Dr. Hickmann treats patients of all ages including children, teens, men and women with multiple dermatology and cosmetic concerns such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, lupus, eczema, bacterial and fungal infections, atypical moles and skin cancers. She is grateful for the opportunities to help patients address their skin concerns. Dr. Hickmann’s favorite aspect of the job is the beautiful relationships she has with her patients and staff. She finds the most challenging aspect of her practice to be attaining medications at an affordable price for her patients. Dr. Hickmann continually enhances her education and patient care through courses in dermatologic surgery, medical dermatology, cosmetic and laser treatments.
