What Is The Plasma Pen?
Plasma Pen is the world’s newest most advanced, non-invasive, skin
lifting, skin tightening, and rejuvenation device used to treat wrinkles,
and sagging, dull skin. The Plasma Pen is an FDA approved, CE
approved device used to perform fibroblast therapy, a technique
used to stimulate the production of collagen in the skin. This promotes
natural healing and rejuvenates the appearance of the skin.
It is important to stress that Plasma Pen is a non-surgical/non-invasive technique
which means very little downtime…You can be back to work the same day!
Dayton Skin Care is the only place in Dayton, OH offering this revolutionary procedure!! Dayton Skin Care Specialists is excited to add this service to our already extensive list of Aesthetic procedures. For a complete list go to Dayton Skin Care Specialists online.
How Does The Plasma Pen Device Work?
The Plasma Pen uses a device fitted with a tiny
needle that delivers pinpoint dots of heat to the surface of the skin.
The procedure is aimed at stimulating microcirculation and the natural processes of collagen production and regeneration.
It makes existing wrinkles less visible due to deep skin hydration and stimulation of collagen production making the area firmer and resistant to further deepening of skin folds and lines.
Plasma is generated when the atmospheric gas between the instrument tip and the skin is ionized. This causes a small electrical arc which causes the contraction, tightening, and shortening of the skin fibers, which will result in a reduction of the skin surface, therefore improving the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and scars.
The visible results are similar to those seen with surgery but without the need for a single cut or stitch. Results are instant and very long-lasting…up to 3 years!!

How Long To See Results?
You will typically see immediate tightening along with cumulative
improvements over the next three months in the appearance of
saggy skin. In some cases, it may require more than one session
depending on the desired results.
In the first stages of healing, small dry spots form on the skin and
remain for about a week before falling off. This is normal and
temporary.
