Dr. Marcus Elias is a dermatologist at Dayton Skin Care. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Elias completed his undergraduate studies at The College of New Jersey, graduating summa cum laude. There, he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
After college, Dr. Elias went on to earn his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class and was a member of the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha. In medical school, Dr. Elias was awarded the Alpha Omega Alpha Lambert-Weiss Research Recognition Award. He currently has over 30 peer-reviewed research articles, as well as over 30 presentations at regional, state, and national conferences.
After medical school, he completed an internal medicine internship at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. He went on to complete three years of dermatology residency training in New York at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
Dr. Elias treats patients of all ages for medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology concerns. His favorite aspect of work is forming relationships with his patients and staff, as well as seeing patients’ improvement at follow-up visits!
